Off to NYC!

Irrelevant pic is irrelevant.

Like I mentioned a couple times already, I’ll be disappearing from the interwebs for about a week, to engage in something that involves *gasp* real life. That means that I won’t be posting or commenting at all, unless I get lucky and I happen to have a decent internet connection. So anyway, since I have no real need to beat around the bush and turn this into a multi-paragraph post, I’ll just leave it that.

And if all goes well, I’ll be able to enter a Kinokuniya for the first time in my life!
…Damn, we really need some of these stores in Toronto.

Saimoe 2008 Finals: A win for our beloved twintail tsundere

Everyone seems to have forgotten than twincest is always a viable option…

It was a long battle for all of us, contestants and reporters alike – though much more so for those of us who actually bothered to report. However, I do believe that the majority of the community has had their eyes on the tournament since its beginning, watching in both anticipation and fear as their favourite girls either dominated the competition or were mercilessly defeated by something involving Hayate or KyoAni. Regardless of your personal preferences, however, the tournament has finally come to a close, concluding the epic battle between the Hiiragi twins: and Kagamin has come out on top.

ef – a tale of melodies [ep 3]

Things progress quickly in the world of ef – which is only natural, I suppose, considering we’ve only got 12 episodes to cover a pair of dramatic love stories worthy of the greatest Key games and Shinkai films. The only thing better than a show with incredible content is a show with incredible content that never gets boring; and ever since the start of the season, the new episode of melodies has been the highlight of my week (however sad that sounds), so I think it’s safe to say that the show has accomplished the latter for at least one person.

But I digress: what are you waiting for? Read more to hear about minori’s sad girls guy in Australia.

My Japanese Coach – Because I’m too lazy to actually study the language

For those of you who have yet to hear about this little gem of a DS game, My Japanese Coach is the latest in the “coach” series, which is yet another one of Nintendo’s ploys to ignore the hardcore and sell to the masses. However, this time I’m not complaining, because as you well know, any self-respecting anime blogger or otaku should learn at least a little Japanese in their lifetime – and if they can do it through a video game, then why not?
