The rumours of my death have been- no, no, I won’t go there.
…Anyway, I have yet to properly rise from the grave (who knew that October Hiatus could strike harder than September?), but I’ve been up to a few things lately, one of which should be relevant to you. In short, I started a fan translation group! How about that? We’re starting small; our first goal is Tsukiyo no Fromage, a delicious gender-swapping bishoujo manga by the ever-alluring Tinkle. Obviously, future updates about the group will be posted on the site, not here, but you’ll probably hear me mention our projects online anyway. We’re complete amateurs and the pace might be slow, so my goal for the time being is to translate material that simply doesn’t exist in the English language – stuff that’s unlikely to ever be translated until a bunch of starry-eyed newbies or bored anons group together and finish the thing. Speaking of which, Saint October is a prime candidate.
That aside, life has been far too busy for me to sit down with a work of fiction and seriously contemplate it (and we all know the real reason why freshman year is tiring). I was going to write a meta post about academia and anime, but every student of fiction and the arts knows exactly what I’m going to say. There’s a ton of material we can take straight from the classroom into fandom, but it takes time to synthesize those thoughts into a readable piece, especially when any free space my brain might have should be put toward doing just that for class instead of hobbies, since class has a due date.
Ranbling aside, I’ll put together some posts when my brain gets a chance to recharge, and you can look forward to some torrents popping up on TT tagged with [Kokuhaku] in the near future. I also have another secret plan in the works – this one involving the internet – so stay tuned…

Sakinobashi. ;______; <3
Anyway, I'm glad someone else is picking this up, even though I feel like your blog is going to die. ;;
Nooo, don’t say that word! The mental drain of school and the social scene that comes with it is much more damaging than another personal project, and those are things that many of us grow accustomed to over time. I would be awfully disappointed in myself if I became one of those people who drop their fandom the moment they get thrown into the real world.
This does not relinquish you from your blogging duties! Your readers and your blog are totally still expecting you to update; although probably not my concern, just saying xO
That being said, good luck with this. I was wondering why Tsukiyo hasn’t updated in so long (although tbh, while the chardesign is still good, Tinkle isn’t very good at writing xD).
Just wait until I get through this shot-by-shot analysis I have to do for school; I’ll probably watch some Shaft show like Cossette no Shouzo and attempt to impress everyone with my l33t freshman film skills XD
Whoa! I’ve been wondering what you’re up to. Don’t overwork yourself~
Also, if you need an easy escape to write on, you could always dump an hour into Nodame Cantabile each week with me, hehe /shameless bump, but I can blame you because you started it.
I hope you’re enjoying uni and your new projects! Cheers.
Whoa, I wan’t the only one who went on hiatus and joined a scanslation group! lol. Have fun, and maybe I’ll check out your stuff~

You’re going to take over the internet?!
H-Hey, you can’t go ruining the surprise this early! :3
